Past experiences and pain

Combine together to frame

An imperfect yet beloved face

That obtains grounding from one place.

Broken shards come together whole

From a healing that penetrates the soul

Through this love extends gratefulness,

Forgiveness, truth, and nothing less

Here I stand apart from it all

Reclaiming beauty from the Fall

Unique and embolden I need

Not care what others may heed

But keep my eyes lifted high

New joys abound all grief has died.
